FINE JEWELRY

The big question
How do you shoot a jewel so you see the stone, not the lighting?
The goal
Two worlds of light, and one stone at the centre.
A mini campaign for a jewellery house, built from two worlds of light: a dark, dramatic studio set for the yellow stone, and a daylight set on a stone terrace facing the sea for the everyday line. The packaging joined the campaign too, because in jewellery the cut, the metal and the box are the product.
Want something like this→

Dark studio
For the yellow stone: a dark background and focused light, so the stone lights the frame and not the lighting.
Daylight by the sea
For the everyday line: a stone terrace, soft light, and the piece as it looks on the body.
